How it started
Math was always my favorite subject in school. My 8th grade Algebra teacher, Mrs. Anderson (no relation), asked me one day to walk around the classroom and help students with their classwork. She did her walk-arounds daily but sometimes couldn't help everyone. She told me I had a knack for explaining the concepts in ways that others could understand. I've been tutoring students ever since.

Our Tutors
Rory Anderson
My name is Rory Anderson and I am the sole proprietor of Anderson Tutoring & Mentoring LLC, my virtual middle school math tutoring service. I'm originally from Columbia, SC and currently live in Winter Garden, FL. I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelors of Accounting & Masters of Business Administration degree.
I enjoy spending time with my wife, Tameika and our 3 children (Cameryn, Royce, Aaliyah). I was Director of Manhasset All Stars for the past 3 years which is my son's AAU basketball program. I also enjoy watching sports and attending music concerts. My favorite sports teams are the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Orlando Magic.
Clark Reyes
Clark James Delos Reyes is a licensed civil engineer from the Philippines with a passion for mathematics and teaching. He has experience teaching students from elementary math through calculus, including Algebra, Geometry, SAT preparation, and math competition topics.
Growing up, Clark participated in and won several math competitions, which inspired his love for problem-solving and mathematical thinking. His goal is to help students build confidence by understanding concepts deeply rather than simply memorizing procedures. He believes math should be challenging, engaging, and even fun.
Outside math, Clark enjoys playing RPG games, listening to K-pop, writing, and playing the piano. He loves connecting with students through their interests and creating a supportive learning environment where they're comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas
Matt Hart
Matt Hart joined the Anderson Tutoring and Mentoring team in Fall of 2026, after working with Rory for several years doing community service tutoring and in other capacities. Coincidentally, this was shortly after Matt and his family relocated from the Winter Garden area to Wesley Chapel, FL, after 10 years in West Orange County. A graduate of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Matt's background is in educational testing and statistics. He has tutored math and science for middle and high school students for over 15 years, specializing in Algebra (1, 2, and college), Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, Physics, and Chemistry. He has also assisted students with test preparation for the SAT and GRE. Matt's philosophy of tutoring is a cooperative effort between students, parents, teachers, and himself, with an emphasis on open communication and a holistic approach including an examination of study methods, note-taking, and organization in addition to subject matter. When he isn't spending time with his wife Jennifer and 2 children, Levi and Shayna, Matt enjoys lap swimming and running - and supporting the Orlando Magic!
Stephanie Cruz-Grant
Stephanie Cruz-Grant is a passionate educator dedicated to helping students unlock their full potential and build real confidence. As a bilingual UCF alumna, born in NY with proud Colombian roots, she brings a diverse perspective and a genuine love for learning.
With over 20 years of experience in K-12 (and currently serving our local OCPS community) she knows how to truly connect with students at all grade levels. For the past seven years, she has specialized in virtual tutoring, guiding learners through foundational math and ELA all the way to strategic ACT and SAT test prep. Her goal is to make online learning engaging, supportive, and highly effective.
When she’s not teaching, she’s exploring local parks with her husband and their two energetic huskies or enjoying a magical day at Disney!
